Marcus Semien collected four hits and Corey Seager delivered a two-run single during a seven-run third inning as the Texas Rangers cruised to an 11-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night, earning a split in their four-game series at Angel Stadium.

Semien was unstoppable at the plate, going 4 for 5 with an RBI and scoring twice in the first three innings. Seager added two hits and drove in a pair, helping the Rangers’ offense explode for 13 hits. Seven of Texas’s nine starters recorded at least one RBI in the rout.

Patrick Corbin (6-7) notched his second straight win, giving up two runs on seven hits over five innings and striking out six. Reliever Jacob Latz was solid in support, allowing just one run while fanning six over 3 1/3 innings.

Rangers slugger Adolis García launched his 11th home run of the season, a two-run shot in the eighth off Carson Fulmer, capping the scoring for Texas.

Angels starter Jack Kochanowicz (3-9) endured a rough outing, getting pulled with two outs in the third after surrendering eight runs. Fulmer pitched the rest of the way, giving up three more runs across 5 1/3 innings.

Texas jumped out quickly with four straight singles in the opening frame, including base hits by Seager, Semien, García, and Jonah Heim to take a 2-0 lead. The Rangers blew the game open in the third with RBIs from Wyatt Langford, Evan Carter, and Jake Burger, along with Seager’s two-run single.

Zach Neto gave the Angels some life with a double in the fifth and scored on Taylor Ward’s 21st home run. Lamonte Wade Jr. added an RBI single in the sixth, and Neto belted a solo homer—his 14th of the year—in the ninth off Dane Dunning.

Key Moment

At the bottom of the first, the Angels loaded the bases with three singles but came up empty. Mike Trout grounded into a double play, and Taylor Ward was thrown out at home by Adolis García on Jo Adell’s single to right, halting what could have been a big inning.
