The Los Angeles Angels and Foundation Building Materials (FBM) announced they have entered into a partnership that makes FBM the Official Jersey Patch Partner of the Angels. The collaboration brings together two Southern California brands with deep roots in the local community and beyond.

“We are excited to welcome Foundation Building Materials to the Angels Partner Family and feature the FBM logo on the sleeve of our jerseys,” Angels executive vice president Dana Wells said. “As local family-run businesses, we share similar values for family and the community. We look forward to working together as partners going forward.”

Along with in-stadium, digital and radio advertising, as well as hospitality at Angel Stadium and Angels road games, the centerpiece of the partnership will see the company’s logo proudly featured on the sleeve of all on-field Angels players, manager and coaches’ jerseys.

The logo features a lone Cypress Tree, representing something built, established, or grown on a firm foundation. The rectangular FBM logo will share the same red and navy colors as the Angels official colors since the team’s inaugural season in 1961.

“This exciting partnership between the Angels and Foundation Building Materials was made possible by a deep appreciation for the game of baseball and the value the Angels have created in building a strong local and national brand,” FBM president and CEO Ruben Mendoza said. “Our logo on the Angels jersey delivers a unique opportunity to be physically and visibly connected to the game, the Angels, and the fans, of whom many are our customers.

“We look forward to further expanding the reach of our brand as a leader in the building materials space while supporting America’s National Pastime.”

The Angels will first wear their FBM logo patch on February 25th when they play the Mariners in Peoria, AZ for their first Spring Training game.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase authentic Angels jerseys with the FBM patch, or have the FBM patch added to their replica jerseys, at the main Angels Team Stores on the Field and Terrace Levels starting this season.

2023 will be the first season that Major League Baseball will permit Clubs to have sponsor logos on the sleeve of their on-field jerseys. The Angels announcement is the fourth of its kind in MLB, following the San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks.
