The schedule and start times for the 2023 World Series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers have been announced. All games in the 119th Fall Classic will be televised on Fox.

Because they finished with a 90-72 record during the regular season, the Rangers earned home-field advantage for the World Series. The Diamondbacks went 84-78, also entering the playoffs as a Wild Card team.

Both the Rangers and Diamondbacks endured a full slate of postseason play, taking down top-seeded teams. Texas swept the Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles, then defeating the defending World Series Champion Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy expanded on his undefeated run in do-or-die postseason games, advancing through each Championship Series round he’s reached.

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks have ridden an upset route, taking down the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and playing a gritty-brand on baseball to beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series.

Game 1 of the World Series is on Friday, October 27. First pitch at Globe Life Stadium is set for 5:03 p.m. PT. Game 2 is scheduled for the following day at the same time.

The World Series then turns to Chase Field in Arizona for Game 3, with Game 4 on Halloween and a potential Game 5 taking place on Wednesday, November 1.

If necessary, the series would then return to Texas for the final two potential matchups in Game 6 and Game 7 at Globe Life Field.

The Rangers are in the World Series for the third time in franchise history and their first appearance since their back-to-back appearances in 2010 and 2011. They’ve never won a World Series in franchise history.

The Diamondbacks are playing in their second World Series in franchise history. They previously upset the New York Yankees to win the 2001 Fall Classic.
